EVENT CANCELLED

Due to ongoing discussions with DAERA Forestry Service and Fermanagh & Omagh District Council today, the Club has decided the rally will not take place as planned within Fivemiletown forests due to damage caused by Storm Eowyn.  The Club will endeavor to explore all the options available for the event later in the year. As previously stated, all entry fees will be refunded in full.

Important Notice

Omagh Motor Club are continuing to progress the Samsonas Fivemiletown Rally planned for Saturday 22nd February. After the devastating impact of Storm Eowyn, we are closely liaising with DAERA Forestry Service and Fermanagh & Omagh District Council to try and ensure the safe running of this popular event and first round of the Northern Ireland Rally Forestry Challenge,  but a final decision will be jointly made by all parties by the 12th February.

As you can appreciate, the Club has committed considerable effort to organise this event of approx. 30 stage miles and would remind competitors to confirm entries as soon as possible. Should circumstances prevail and the rally does not run, all entry fees will be refunded in full.

Also, recognising the class changes mandated by Motorsport UK this year, we will provide additional awards to the first crew in a 2 valve / cylinder (e.g 4 cylinder / 8 valve) in the following classes:

  • Class 6 (“over 1600cc up to and including 2000cc, etc”)
  • Class 8 (“over 1400cc up to and including 1600cc, etc.”)
  • Class 9 (“up to and including 1400cc.”).

A further update on the rally and restrictions on spectator access to the stages will be released at a later date.
